"Protected" Carbs and Point Calculating

Hi Everyone,

Just a question regarding protected/digestible carbs...more specifically, the Dreamfield's Pasta line. I searched the forum but found no definitive answer, so I'm hoping someone can help me here.

According to the info on nettrition.com, "Dreamfields' unique manufacturing process and fiber protein blend entrap and protect all but 5 grams of the carbohydrates per serving from being digested..." This is why (they claim) it's a great pasta for those who need a low glycemic diet.

According to WW, if you enter the information "as is", one serving is 5 points. But if what Dreamfield's says is true, shouldn't it be more like 1 point?

Any help is appreciated - thanks!

Unfortunately, from what I've read about Dreamfields pasta... It falls in the "too good to be true" category... If you google something like "Is Dreamfields Pasta really low carb" you'll come across several articles discussing the various issues with it... from everything I've read about it and heard other people say about it... I wouldn't bother with it...
