Question

Hi!

I'm trying to calculate the points for my latte this morning and don't know if I'm figuring it out right.

I had a grande (16 oz) non-fat, no-foam, w/whipped, vanilla latte (say that three times fast!). Since a tall (12 oz)
non-fat latte is 2 points, I figured a 16 oz to be about 2.5 points. Then I added a point for whipped cream and a
point for vanilla for a total of 4.5 point. Does this sound right?

Default points for "vanilla"

The vanilla syrup used in a tall latte has more than 200 calories in it (unless you requested the sugarfree). This question came up on another board, and we finally got a response from someone who was a Starbucks employee and checked the bottle, as well as the quantity used in each drink. Pretty horrifying! I bring my own s/f syrup to my local coffee bar...no points.

according to Dotti's information your latte was 8 points...

2 points for syrup
2.5 points for whipped cream
3.5 points for the latte

Default Thanks!

I've been to Dotti's site before, but didn't know how extensive it was.
