Totally second Lisa's suggestion of a glass of water in between drinks- slows it down and gives it time for the alcohol to kick in.
What are the 5 point beers you're drinking? Any chance you could make some substitutions? There is a one point beer (i'm on old program- flex/momentum) - 55 calories by bud but ehh, it's okok.
I drink Bud Select 55 also. I'm doing flex and it counts for 1 pt. A slice of lime in it isn't too bad and I have also made homemade "chelada" with it. I take about 4 oz of clamato, some assorted seasonings and pesto chango low calorie chelada. Let me know if anyone wants the recipe.
