Activity Points for Weight Lifting

  • Hello everyone,

I recently hopped back on the WW wagon, with a key extra ingredient for weight loss success: exercise. I have sort of been converted from hating it with a passion to loving how it makes my body feel. I do cardio, aerobics, and weight lifting. I want to be able to count all of it in my activity points, which I am a little clueless about. After scouring the internet, I found this lovely forum and a few answers (like what "high intensity" really means and a mathmatical formula to find activity points), but I still have one question left: How do you count weight lifting towards activity points? Is it possible? It should be, because it's still "activity", and important, none the less. Anyone have any ideas how to go about counting it?

    Thanks so much,
    -Ariella
  • It is like anything else, you can look it up and it will tell you the points depending on the activity. For me it works out to about 2 points for 25 minutes but this varies based on your weight and your intensity. But I just look it up on the online database.
