Default WW treats

In everyone's opinion, is the 2-point WW brownie worth the 120 calories? I searched the forum but all the posts seem to mention when the brownies were one point? I dunno, I feel like a chocolate Vitatop might be a better caloric bargain, unless the WW brownies are way better than they look...

Are you talking about brownies you get from the grocery store, like the cookies? Or the double chocolate chip brownie bars from the meetings? I enjoy the brownie bars from the meetings. They're certainly not as wonderful as the real thing but they're chocolatey enough for this chocoholic to be satisfied.

The grocery store ones! I really want to try them, but $3.99 for 4 is a little steep if they aren't worth it. 120 calories is a little steep calorically too, if they aren't really worth it!

the 1 point chocolate cakes are at the grocery (usually there's a stand kinda near the bakery section). They changed the way they make them, I'm not sure I like them as much as before. But still good for just one point.

So has anyone tried the Chocolate Pretzel Blast bars? OMG soooo good! (You buy them at the WW locations, not the grocery)

I'm glad you asked this because I was curious about the weight watcher treats as well. I just started ww and noticed that some of my old treats are more points than I want to use.

I hope you haven't bought any yet because I find the WW products @ the grocery store disgusting. The Vita products are by far superior. I wouldn't waste my money on any WW product again - YUCK

I like the chocolate chip cookies. Problem is I ate more than just one at a sitting!

Cocoa Brownies
desserts

POINTSŪ Value: 1
Servings: 16
Preparation Time: 7 min
Cooking Time: 20 min
Level of Difficulty: Easy

Fudgy and rich. An easy, super-satisfying chocolaty treat.

Ingredients
3/4 cup(s) unsweetened cocoa, powder
3/4 cup(s) sugar
1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp table salt
1/2 cup(s) low-fat plain yogurt
2 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 spray(s) cooking spray
Instructions

* Position the rack in the center of the oven and preheat oven to 350°F.

* Whisk the cocoa powder, sugar, flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Then use a wooden spoon to stir in the yogurt and vanilla until smooth but quite thick.

* Coat an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray. Spread the thick batter into the pan, evenly to the corners.

* Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out with a few moist crumbs attached, about 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes before cutting into 16 squares, 2- X 2-inches each. Yields 1 square per serving

I find the store brownies to not be worth 2 pts...plus way too expensive. I only buy them when my local Amish salvage grocery has them for 25 cents.
I love the deep cholocate vitatop! I don't have any problems with them, but I hear of others who have gas problems after eating them. Beano would help that.
I would recommend No Pudge brownie mix. You can make one serving at a time, for 2 pts, and it's sooo good.
