Default Etools points help!

So, I'm stumped here. I'm using the etools and it's saying if I eat one cup of lentil soup it's 2 points, but if I decide to eat the whole can in one sitting, which is around two cups it's 5.5 points?

So what I'm wanting to do is have half with lunch and half with my dinner.

How do I calculate it as 4 or 5.5 points?

I might be overanalyzing but that's an extra snack if that's the case! I'm thinking I'll just go with the greater of the two?

Any thoughts?

If you eat it all at one time it will be the 5.5 points. If you enter that you are having half at lunch then half at supper it will 4.I know it's weird, one of their quirks I guess.
