Default Salmon - Points vs. SetPoints

I don't really follow the SetPoints aspect of the program, but I have noticed that a regular salmon fillet is listed as 9 points, yet the setpoints value is only 5. This is the only instance I've come across where the setpoints value is lower than the per serving value. Does anyone know why this is and are there other foods where this is the case?

Thanks!

The way I understand it is you'll probably become full at the 5 set point instead of the 9pts. It's a core based thing where you have to listen to your hunger signals and stop when you feel comfortable and not full/still hungry.

I've seen this with some of the other lean proteins and just counted the set points...I had to make more of an effort not to eat mindlessly though.

Set points are not to be used at home where you should be able to weigh and measure your portions. They are only to be used in cases where you are away from home and can't get the nutritional information and then you can't eat all you want, only until full.
