oooh i LOOOOOOOVE popcorn.. bordering on obsession, really. haha! I like to put cajun seasoning (watch it tho, high in sodium), or parmesean cheese, or a little bit of garlic powder. A friend of mine uses some sort of natural yeast, because it gives it a buttery taste.. not sure which kind it is though, maybe I can find out. A big popcorn helper lately has been the I can't believe it's not butter spray - pretty low cal and really peps up the taste for me. From one popcorn lover to another - good luck finding a new taste!!

I think there are seasonings called Mr. Kernels or something like that. I just use buttery flavoring by Jiffy Pop.

What a helpful thread ^^ I was just talking with the fiance the other day that I'd like to snack on some popcorn but didn't know of many healthier seasonings, and eating it plain is just not my style.

I'm DEFINITELY going to try that splenda & cinnamon!

I had splenda and cinnamon on mine last night it was good but a little powdery, you know like how powdered sugar makes you cough sometimes, so I'm thinking if I spritzed it with the fake butter spray 1st it would stick to the corn a little better, it was really good though.

I have some Mrs. Dash's, too. I never really used that until a stew recipe called for it. I can't believe how good it is and all natural, they have a bunch of different flavors, too. I'm going to pick up some more when I go to the grocery today. I bet it would be good on a baked potato, too.

I know this is going to sound weird, but I dip mine in barbeque sauce. The Budweiser sauces are the lowest I've found, only 1 pt per serving, and dipping each piece makes eating it take longer and is really good. HTH

Spicy Steak Grill Seasoning - mine is Montreals' brand, but I'm sure there are lots. I put that stuff on EVERYTHING.

I use Kernel Seasons - it comes in like 14 flavors. My favorite is the white cheddar. Aside from being sold online, you can find it at Target.

I spray my popcorn with Pam Cooking Spray before shaking any seasonings on. We are popcorn fanatics in my house, so always looking for new ideas to change things up.

Nutritional yeast. It's kind of cheesy tasting and chocked full of B12.

Two teaspoons is 0 points.
