Hi everyone,

I made it through the cookie making with the grandchildren! I can't believe how many cookies you get when you make those sugar cookies. The decorating was fun, but of course I had to try a few of each kind. Now I feel like I'm in a sugar coma! Everytime I do that I tell mysef I won't do it again, but I always do. Crazy isn't it?

They called me back two years in a row. I had to have more shots taken because I have dense breast tissue also. Then my Dr. said I had to have them every six months, I can't tell you how happy that made me. I think they need to have a person read the results right away, the waiting to hear is very stressful. I'm sure you will be ok, they just can't see as easily when you have the dense breast tissue. When are you going back?

Do you get a lot of snow in New York Es? I have never been to New York, but I would like to go one of these days. Carbs are my problem food to. I don't like the healthy ones. Candy and ice cream are the culprits.

L.J., I will be glad when this week is over, too many temptations with food and gatherings. Nothing but bad food and my brain is on vacation...all I want to do is eat. I do go to w/w's on Fridays just to see where I am at and it does seem to help a little. Where are you at with nice 64 degree temps? I'm in MI and we are seeing 15.

Jenn , It must be cold where you are to. I bet you would like 64.

This will be another busy week, but after the new year things should get back to normal. I am thinking about getting acrylic nails put on. Have any of you had them? If so what did you think about them?

The parties are too much! For the first time I'm realizing how much food there is and how we can get in big trouble. It's difficult to say no, I'm just trying to keep it all to a minimum. How was your office party?

It's a great tradition to bake cookies with your grandchildren, they'll always remember the love. How many and their ages? I've got two grandsons, Brandon, 10 and Matthew,5...and as the girls here will tell you, they're the loves of my life.

Yesterday we had Iliana's birthday party here. The menu was party food...all appetizers...LOTS of work....lots of points...but we had fun. I've gone without all those favorites for a while, so felt the need to have some. My sister-in-law was here; she hit the 85 pound mark, and looks wonderful! She had over 100 pounds to lose, and is really on her way. I'm so thrilled for her. I know how unhappy she was at her highest.

Is everyone ready for Santa? I've got to get 2 more gift cards, a family gift for our neighbors, and a gift for a coworker and I'm finished. Wrapped presents last night while watching the Bears WIN!!!! WHOOOEEEE it's fun to watch them this year!

Ciao Bellas' Well I am having some bad, bad days my friends..not good, not good at all, but my bloodwork came out excellent. The doctor said he was blown away by the report. Except for having to lose these pounds I am healthy in the LDL, triglicerides, HDL,sugar, etc etc.
Can you imagine???????
I think I am going out with the old year with no losses again...*sigh*
It is so hard isnt' it, this time of year? Geez!! You're right Es!

It was definetly warm today....ughh...and there I am hearing, White Christmas, and Sleigh Bells Ring, etc.

I am soooo not ready for Christmas. Actually we may go to Hard Rock Casino for the day. I am sure it will be crowed I don't gamble but I can gather up a few bucks for the slots. One of our neighbors are going (they are orginally from Rhode Island) When you don't have family nearby - the holidays just seem to lose their pa-zaa!! Don't get me wrong we have met some very nice people here but the holidays should be with family....
Lot of our neighbors are NY'ers...many older than us, but a bunch of fun loving people. We have a commom bond, and I like that. No one makes fun of the accent!!!! Accent, what accent
Well tomorrow is (yet) anther day I start out on the right foot. I've been Floring for the past several weeks, and not very successful....This is not good, not good at all....I am making some really bad choices...*sigh* ....so on that note, I will say goodnight, I am beat....Have a great eve/day...see you all back here later on..........
PS to this.....not a good day today either....so tomorrw is yet another day...
