When to quit drinking water

  • I think WW recommends 6-8 classes of water per day. I know that it is nearly impossible to drink too much water so that it hurts you. But, I'm wondering if there's a point where after you have drank so much water that it is no longer a benefit any more that day? Like does it have no more benefit after you have drank 100 ounces (for example).

Does my question make sense? I can't think of a better way to word it

    Thanks!

  • Great Question Stephanie!

Water seems to be a hot topic of late. Maybe b/c of the heat? Well, I agree with you, for the average person it is almost impossible to drink too much water. I wonder though if there is a point when it's not doing you any more good. Maybe not harming you but not helping you either. I guess my plan is drink the recommended 6 glasses and then drink to satisfy my thirst. I am also trying hard to avoid caffiene which will negate the water I have drank. So once I drink my water, then I allow myself to drink any non caffinated 0 point beverages (decaf tea, coffee, etc.) and if I have points (milk, juice, gatoraide etc) whenever I am thirsty.
