Default Going on a few trips - any tips on staying on track?

I'm going to TX in a couple days but then going overseas in May. I'm a bit nervous about these trips since food would be a huge issue for me, especially in Japan (no nutrition facts). At least in TX, I can still track most of my foods. I hate being so anxious about how to eat, so any advice would be appreciated. I remember those days when I would look forward to my visits BECAUSE of the food!! For the trip to Japan, I'm thinking of doing the Simply Filling technique at least for those couple weeks. So how do you keep yourself on track during vacations?
