G'day all,
Still very limited with my internet access, however I take every opportunity that I get albeit for only a short time

It is really nice to get a chance to read what you are all up to, love your avatars!!!!
I am well and adjusting to life in very busy Sydney.
The apartment is very posh and by serviced it means that each day someone comes to make the bed and do a bit of a tidy and twice a week the place is vacuumed and once a week the sheets and towels are changed.
I think it is a little over the top for someone to make the bed each day after all I have nothing else to do but I am happy for someone to vacuum and change the sheets.
I hope to try and find some sort of course to do in the 4 months that I am here. I am not really fussed what I do as long as I learn something and have a bit of a commitment with something whilst I am here.
I have searched the net and have found a few things worth following up. In the meantime I am knitting furiously to try and get the jacket finished for my daughter, I have a few books on the go and I am trying to straighten out some of the files on my laptop.
Speaking of books, whilst in Hong Kong I read a book called 'Wild Swans' it was a true story of 3 women, grandmother, mother and daughter and how they experienced China before, during and after the time that Mao came to power. If you get a chance to read it I would highly recommend it.
Take care all,
Cheers
Maria
