Hi Everyone,

It barely feels like summer here in New England. Today the high temp is going to be about 68 degrees. We have had an extraordinary amount of rain too. I am still picking plenty of snow peas in the garden, and the tomatoes and eggplant are not doing anything to speak of yet.

Mike and I bought bikes two weeks ago and went on a nice bike ride together on a lovely bike path that was created from an old rail trail. This weekend is his birthday and when I asked what he wanted, he said another bike ride together. Isn't he sweet? He is really motivated to exercise now, because of the bike and it has also been a strong recommendation from his doctor since his blood pressure hasn't come down well even with meds.

I am exercising pretty regularly between the bikes and our treadmill, but I still haven't had the willpower to do WW yet. My weight is creeping down by maybe 1/4 to 1/2 pound per week.

Hi Jen, I like your plan with WW, are you also going to meetings?

I am so sorry about your precious little Zoe. Dogs are the ultimate friend. You made her very happy all these years and she you. Memories are a blessing.

Kathie passed away peacefully and gracefully on Wednesday afternoon. My heart breaks, but it will heal. She could not.
Rest in peace, Kath. I love you.

Thank you, friends.
It's still hard to believe she is gone. I used to call her each day after work, now I'm missing her so.
I know it will get better, am taking it one day at a time.

I should be taking WW one day at a time, but, unfortunately, I've been off more than I've been on.
All in good time, right?

Are we still all seriously thinking of a get-together in Nashville in Oct. 2010? I've got to start planning my days off for next year and don't want to miss out.
