Hi all,
This recovery is getting me down. I've ventured out in the car twice. I'm still really, really sore and know that I could not make a fast stop. The first day, I went down a side street going 20 mph.
I've got one more week before I'm "officially healed." At least, that's what they say. I have a nurse friend who told me that it'll take a whole year to be completely well. Now, I didn't need to hear that!!!
But, I'm stronger--just can't stand or sit for too long or it starts hurting.
I've become one with my sofa.
Tammy, I'm glad you are off those pills. And, yes, Larry got us Mexican food last night. Yummy
Susan, I'll have to check to see if we have tapa places.
Jeanne, I know it's hard getting back into the grind of work.
Dori, how are you doing?
Maureen, I'm so glad you are enjoying that job. Good luck with the juicer. I've tried carrot juice but it made me gag.

Everyone have a great day.

So do you guys know how easy it is to eat 15 pieces of candy (assorted chocolates) during an 8 hour shift! Well............it is! And may I add that 15 pc. is a 1/2 pound box!!!!! Urrrrghhhh! Oh, I did that on Tuesday! Wed......maybe just a fraction of that and then Thursday I went cold turkey!!!! Thought I was going to die! But, I didn't and today is friday and so far so good! But I know this isn't anything new from me, so you're probably all thinking blah blah blah! hahaha! Just kidding!

Anyways, I'm finally caught up on my sleep!

Do you guys find it hard to get your water intake? I am lucky to drink one bottle a day, let alone the requirement. I'm not too big on the sugar free stuff for in the water bottles but I do like the 30 cal. cherry kool aid.

Well enough from me for now. Hope you are all having a great day! It is 62 and sunny here!

Thanks for being my friends!

Hi all,
I don't like drinking my water, either. Right now, it is a "necessity" that I drink at least 8 glasses a day. That is almost impossible for me.
I find that if I make myself drink half in the morning, it helps.
Then in the afternoon, I will drink that other 4 glasses at half hour intervals. I'm in the bathroom alot but do get it all done with before 5 p.m.

Jeanne, you need another line of work.

Tina, I groaned when I read what your friend said about it taking you a year to be well.

Jeanne, sure wish I had some of that chocolate right now!!! I have good days and bad days with the water drinking.

Anyone know how long it takes to get rid of the pounds that you put on from taking steroids? Next week is our last weigh in for the class I've been taking at the Y (I weigh on Friday) and it's also the last week of my Wed. night class for a couple of weeks. We start a new session on Wed. nights on April 15, and I think my next class at the Y starts April, 20. I will have to get my behind in gear during the down weeks.

Good Morning Ladies!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I stayed OP even with kaitlins birthday in there! No cake here! We bought a mini one and my husband cut and served it! Worked out great!
I still can't seem to get my water intake where it should be - but I did increase it a little. And again..........still not exercising!

Tina - YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!!! I do need a new line of work! It is an "unhealthy" job for me!!!! Maybe someday my AVON business will be big enough to retire from my full time job!

Tammy - I sure wish I could share some of that chocolate with you! Maybe we will have a big 3FC meeting somewhere someday and I'll bring some for everyone!

Maureen - How is the new job going?

Hi Dori! Hi Susan!

Well gotta run! It's just another manic monday!!!
