Hey,
my appointment was good. I love my dr. She is wonderful and really listens. She wants to change my medicine so right now we are adding it and then in 3 weeks I go back and she will reduce the other until I'm off of it.

The if I'm still tired she might add something else. She is thinking that I have PCOS, she doesn't care what the endocrinogolist said, she thinks that why I never got pregnant before. She might put me on a low dose birthcontrol to help stablize my hormones.

She did a lot of blood work, checking my B12, iron and a bunch of other stuff. So I will let you know when I know something. I'm just tired of being tired and want to feel good.

Has everyone decorated for Halloween? We don't go overboard like some people around here. I put out one big pumpkin and a couple of signs, on sticks. Some years we have few children and other times, like last year, we have bunches.
This year I see that there are little bags of pretzels to give out. I might buy some for my snacks.
Susan, that is great news about your doctor being so thorough. I hope she finds something that will tell you what's been going on.
How is your weather? It's actually feeling like fall down here.

Tina, I think you are right about the stress finally getting to me. Today when I left the chiro appt., I was in such a good mood. Everyone in the office is so positive and friendly. Within 5 minutes of walking in the door here at home, I was down again. Bob was upset about something to do with the electric blanket, so he was complaining. He has been moody since, and I've just tried to stay out of his way. I really think that he needs to start going for some counseling, but I don't know how to suggest that it is time. Maybe even an anti-depressant. I thought that before all of his problems started though.

Glad you are feeling better!

I have a scarecrow on my front door, a small garden flag with pumpkins on it, and a real pumpkin by the lamppost. Nothing else except for my little ghost s'more that I bought last year. Where we live we don't have any children coming to the door.

Susan, glad to hear that you are comfortable with your doctor. Sounds like she's going to get to the bottom of things. It's no fun not feeling the best. I'd like to even feel 1/2 best sometimes! lol

Bob and I are going to a nice restaurant tonight here in town. I've been there for lunches, but never dinner because of the cost. I have a coupon book that cost $25. With it, we can buy 1, get 1 free. I told him that we need to take advantage of it since it expires the end of December. There are lots of places that we use it, so it has already paid for itself. Hope he eats!!!!

Dr. Tina here---
If Bob would eat more and have something to do, I do believe that his whole attitude would change for the better. There's my opinion and you don't even have to give me a co-pay.

Going out for supper sounds super! Larry has been getting us take-out since I've been sick. Last night I fixed low fat sausage, my homemade baked beans and sf Jell-O with fruit. It was good but I was exhausted.
Tonight I might let him get something for us. I've got to go give my mother a shower. That's a struggle when I feel good.

Hi,

Tammy, I agree with Dr. Tina about Bob. He has to eat to get his strength back and the more he does the better he will feel. You have gone NONSTOP! You deserve a good get away.

Tina, Sorry you've been feeling rotten. I'm glad Larry is taking care of you. I can only imagine how hard it is taking care of your mother. It's fall here too. I love it.

Well, I went to get my new meds and insurance won't approve it until they talk to the dr. So..... the pharmacy faxed something to the dr. and then they said it might be a few days. Insurance..... gotta love thm and gotta hate them

I agree with you about Bob. How can I be tactful and suggest things? We go back to the liver specialist on Nov. 6. I think I'll just try to be tough until then and possibly bring it up then. I also am planning to talk to our pastor. Maybe he can talk to Bob. He's pretty upfront with him about everything that has gone on.

Our dinner was wonderful! We didn't even eat 1/2 of what we ordered. The servings were larger than we expected. We will have 1 and maybe 2 more meals out of it. We did stop eating when we did because the desserts looked yummy. We splurged. Bob had cheesecake, and I had an apple tart. I tried to estimate the calories, and even with everything I ate yesterday, I was still around 1500 calories. Not bad. I'm trying to stay below 1800. I may drop that to 1700 for a while if I don't lose soon.

Tina, I hope things went ok with your mother. Having take out is ok! It is tiring doing meals all the time.

Susan, maybe I could just get away and come to Texas and visit some friends! lol Poo on your insurance!!!

Tim is coming tonight to the h.s. football game where we used to live. IT's their last game. He told me that I should come so I could get away. THEN he mentioned that he is bringing his new friend with him! Yes, it's a girl. His old girlfriend is being pretty nasty I guess. name calling and glaring at the new friend at band practices. Jessica (old friend) has a new boyfriend, so I don't understand why she is doing that. Pretty childish. Hope it doesn't rain, because I want to go!!!

He had mentioned her a couple times when we were visiting last weekend. I guess when she came back from fall break on Sunday, they went out to eat, and they've been spending lots of time together since then. He sounds happy! He said his face hasn't hurt this bad for a long time. He's smiling all the time. lol

Well ladies, I have definitely missed you all. I haven't been OP for quite some time. So yesterday I got the courage to go WI. I'm now at 182 and have decided that now is the time for this weight to come off. Today has been good so far. This morning for breakfast I had WW's Oatmeal and tried a Strawberry Banana smoothie. The smoothie was not good at all.

Hey Dori!! Great to hear from you!!!! I think we've all had those days of not being OP. I lose a couple pounds, then it is forever till I lose any more because I don't stay OP as strict. Glad you had a good day. I just eat regular oatmeal. I've never tried the smoothies, but it sounds like I don't want to!!

Met Tim's new girlfriend at the football game. She is cute, outgoing, seems nice, but I really didn't get to know her of course. Tim seemed very happy. It seems funny seeing him with someone else. He and Jess were together for 3 1/2 years. They left the game at the end of the 3rd quarter because Tim has to work at midnight. My friends and I left too because we were freezing!

Have a great weekend!!

Welcome back, Dori!!!!!! I've missed you. Most of us get off the program at times. And, since I've had this virus, I haven't been exercising. That stinks!
Tammy, I'm glad you got to meet Tim's new girl. It sounds like Jess wants her fun but doesn't want to give up Tim. I'm so glad Tim is happy.
I hope you didn't get sick in that cold weather.

Susan, where are you girl????

It's Monday! Guess what, I'm seriously thinking about getting a part-time library job. We'll see. I've got to go looking for an interview pants suit.

Hi,
I'm here. The same ole stuff has been going on. However, we got DSL this past Friday. It has taken 10 years for it to get to us. It's not the fastest speed but it's great!!!! It makes a big difference.

Well I got punched in the face today. Right smack on the check bone. Ouch it hurts. My girl had a melt down.

Finally got my medicine approved with insurance and I'll start taking it tonight.

Can you believe that Halloween is right around the corner.

Tammy, I'm glad Tim has a new girl friend. Jessica is just jealous.

Tina, how are you doing?

Dori, glad you are back!!!!

Default Our Threads are Moving!

Morning all,
It looks like Suzanne is moving all the WW Weigh-Ins and Countdowns and closing this forum down. She's consolidating things, she says.

I believe that we'll go to the WW Clubs and Groups.
I'm going to try and PM everyone who writes here (or who used to write here) about the move.

Susan, it's great that you finally got your insurance company to pay. I hope you feel better really fast.

Tammy, how are you? I hope you didn't get sick out at that football game. When does Bob go back to a doctor?
How's your weight loss going?

Dori, how are you doing?
Amy, Maureen, Chantal, Terry, Sis, Elaine, everyone----we miss you when you don't post.
Hey, my virus is almost gone.

Hi gang. I'm here, just haven't been here. Does that make sense??? Tim and Jess (old girlfriend) had a chat the other evening, and I think things are cool with them now. They are both happy with their new friends. Tim told her that he wants her to be happy, and he thinks she is with the new guy.

Might weight loss is at a definite standstill. I only need to lose 1 lousy pound to get to the end of October goal, but I haven't made it yet. Stinks. I've been journaling faithfully, so that's not the answer.

Bob goes back to the doctor next Tuesday. I'll be glad because there are lots of questions to ask when we are there.

One of the team members for this weekend's Emmaus Walk is ill and can't do the walk. They asked me (just like last April) to fill in for the weekend. I go to the church on Thursday evening and leave on Sunday evening. I plan to not eat all the goodies that they put in front of me!!!!!!!!

Tina, that's great about the p-t job!! I've thought about doing something like that too! Glad your virus is about gone!!!

Susan, glad you have a faster speed now. It does make a difference. Ouch to the punch in the face! Good luck with the new meds!!

Today was the day when I went to my new gyn. I like him, he is thorough and fast---two good qualities! However, I've got to have an ultrasound next week. Yuck!

Susan, how is your face doing? I'm so sorry. You need workman's compensation.

Dori, are there different flavors to the WW oatmeal? I've never seen it in my stores. Maybe I should look more closely.

Tammy, you always love that Emmaus Walk. What will Bob do while you are gone? Is he still weak? How is little Kramer doing? I hope his "record" hasn't given him a complex.

I hope everyone enjoys the day and evening.

Tina, glad you liked the new gyn! Bob will be hanging out here at home while I'm gone this weekend. He is doing much better. Still weak at times, but much better than he was. Kramer will be going to the Pooch Parlor. I don't think he has a complex yet!! lol

Tonight is setup at the church for the weekend, so I need to get my suitcase packed. It's easier and less hectic to take things tonight than it will be tomorrow night when all of the new women (28 of them) will be showing up. My best friend Melissa (Carol is our other cohort in crime) is also on this Emmaus team. Talk about excited!!! I sure hope we behave!! I'd hate for them to send me home. lol

Bob is at therapy right now. I think he'll be doing another month of that at least. I have aerobics tonight. It always feels so good! The new session started on Monday, and we didn't have any new people. We decided to kick it up a notch. Oh my. I know it was good for all of us since we've been doing the same stuff for a while. Still no weight loss though.

I'm really ticked about this 1 pound. Now it will be TOM any time, so it will never go away!!!

No aerobics tonight. Teacher was sick. There are only 5 of us in the class, and a couple of the others weren't going to be there anyway. I'm kind of glad because I took a nap before I went over to the church.

I decided that when my butterfly hits 20, I'm going to have a massage. I had been thinking about it, and it is going to happen for sure.

If I don't get back on here tomorrow, have a great weekend!!
