20001 Kitchen Secrets by Dr. Myles H. Bader
Has anyone ordered this book? If so, what do you think of it?
I was watching an infomercial on this yesterday and it seemed pretty informative. There are a ton of tips on how to prepare foods and also on how to store foods so that they will last longer. A few of the tips sounded like common sense, but others were pretty helpful. The only complaint that people online seem to have is that the editing and grammer in the book is horrible!
One tip that stood out was that the author mentioned the refrigeration of tomatoes. He said that refrigeration neutralizes the acid in them and suggested that you bring them to room temp half an hour before serving them.
Anyone else heard of this book? It sells for $19.95 & comes with a bonus book titled 1001 Household Secrets.
