Q about Points Calculator

I lost my slider so I have been using the online points calculator and it gives a "Points" and a "real points" so which one should I go by?

If it is .5 I round up, if it is .4 I have been rounding down. But when I used my slider I just took whatever point it gave me and I never rounded up or down even if it was close. Make sense?

What do you all do?
