Default Hello! Back in the saddle :)

Hello! I am Erin. I'm a mom to a pretty incredible kid, who has inspired me to be a better person. With that in mind, I am determined that this is the time to finally take control of my weight!

I have been overweight most of my life, dieting occasionally, but never getting over the first plateau before giving up. My son is 5, and has several severe medical and developmental special needs, and frankly, needs me to have more energy, and be the mom he deserves.

My husband and I started Weight Watchers (again!) 2 months ago, and I am down 19 pounds so far! My first goal is to hit 50 pounds some time this summer! I will work on setting more goals after that! (I need small tangible goals!)

Welcome to the forum and welcome back to weight watchers. Please check out our monthly chat thread and monthly goal setting thread. We are all here for support.

Small tangible goals are the way to go Great weight loss so far.

Welcome and you are doing great. I am doing WW with my husband as well and it really helps to have both of us doing it.

Koshka, It's true! When I make dinners it is so much easier to figure out the points, and not feel like I have to eat different from him, or make my own stuff. Plus we help keep each other accountable!
