I have been using all of my daily points, except for a day here and there where I might have a couple left over. Most days I actually dip into my weekly points and by the end of the week I generally don't have many weekly points left. I don't count activity points. I have been losing pretty well. I started WW's four weeks ago and I've lost 12 or 13 pounds already. I definitely don't feel deprived. I would first try to follow the program as it says and then if you're not happy with the results you can tweak it. You lost 26 pounds already so I would just keep doing whatever you were doing.
I was on the Atkins diet from July 2011 to October 2012 and I lost 73 pounds. October 15, 2012 started WW's and got down to 255. Gained 25 pounds through the holidays, but got back on track June 2013. Got off track through the holidays again and gained back 10+ pounds
I will continue my journey to the end, no matter how long that takes.
