I would use the activity points, because when you eat your normal intake of 35 points, you are still going to lose anyways without exercise, but once you burn some of those calories that you've eaten you have to replace them! There are guidelines as to what constitutes as activity points..depending on how hard you work out/exercise.
For example if you can talk during exercise- its less activity points
If you can barely talk while breaking a sweat- its more activity points
Im sure you have the guidelines for that somewhere and if not they are on the web!! You will still lose weight if you substitute your activity points.
