I unofficially started weight watchers November of last year and have successfully lost 25 pounds but I'm having issues getting lower. I think it's partially due to the fact I am trying to eat actual food instead of prepackaged meals. I was just wondering do you feel meetings help?
Here's to starting over!
First goal 5%- 218.3 (back in the two-teens)
Second goal 206.8 (lowest weight since graduating)
When you say unofficial what do you mean? Are you an online member? It's really important that you know the points of everything you are eating, prepackaged or not. You will either need online access or you can also buy the books online. Since you are not eating the pre-packed stuff, be sure that you are measuring your portions correctly. I have also found that exercise is always key to moving past a plateau.
I've been doing WW unofficially like you so I've never been to meetings but I needed the support which is why I joined 3FC although the WW forum isn't exactly that "busy" and I heard the official WW message boards aren't exactly awesome either.
Anyway, If I could join the meetings, I would! Try it, see how you like it! Lucky you!
