I have not tried weight watchers although I know quite a few people who have. Some had success, some didn't. I've looked into it a bit and the system just didn't appeal to me. I count calories. I've downloaded an app (there are several; myfitnesspal, LoseIt!, caloriecounters etc.) Maybe try going that route.

I've lost 20 lbs by keeping on track with my calories. I don't do very much exercise (during that time) although now I've started. You can still eat what you want and when you want. Just portioned to fit into your budget. Worth looking into.

As far as WW goes, like I said I haven't tried it. But someone here with WW experience will offer a lot more insight then I have.

All the best!

Can you post an average day of what you're eating?

Are you meeting the Good Health Guidelines? Can you post an example of your daily meals/snacks?

You may have to start using your weeklies to see a loss. Some people have to play around with them to see what works. You already know not eating them is not working for you. Maybe try eating some of them. When I was able to exercise, I was eating my activity points first because I felt like I had earned those. At least then you're re-fueling your body with what you've lost.

Not all points are created equal.

Are you weighing/measuring? Every single BLT?

I agree with SoMuchFattitude and Dixiemom.

I also find it's easier for me to make sure I'm not hungry throughout the day. I eat at least 5 small meals a day. Make sure you're not skipping meals!

Good Health Guidelines are essential. Your water, dairy, veggies/fruits, multi vitamin and healthy oils are needed within your points to fuel your body for weight loss. Even if you are creating a calorie deficit without them, you will lose faster and better with them. Stick to the plan becuase it works but the GHG are a very important part for that plan for good reason.

Also lean proteins!! I had a friend who stalled her weight loss because she was not eating enough protein, now that she as increased her protein she is back on track.

GHG = good health guidelines...

The only thing that jumped out at me from your post was the wine on weekends... I've been finding that wine seems to slow down my weight loss, even when it's still within my pts budget...

Last time I did WW, I was like this....

I have found that if I am working out a lot, I don't eat enough, so I think my body does the hold hang on to weight, etc.

I also find myself picking bad food and then just eating fruit if I am out of points, that is not good either!

If I don't lose at least 2 lbs this week I am going to be frustrated too!

Good luck

There is a thread on this WW board that is all menus. Check out what they are all eating. I feel you, I hate doing everything right and not seeing the success I am feeling on the scale. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/weig...-5-5-11-a.html
