how many points equal calories

Is there a way to find out how many calories you consume when you eat 44 points a day? And is there a way to figure out how many cals are in the weekly bonus points(49)? I didn't know if there was a way to figure that out.

Well, it used to be (before PointsPlus) that each point equaled roughly 50 calories. Not sure if that's still true or not but that may give you an idea...

Since they took calories out of the points equation, it's difficult to say. But at 31 points I eat about 1300-1350 calories which comes out to roughly 40 calories a point (I track on MyFitnessPal along with tracking points)

40 points seems about right. 50 would be 2200 so I really hope that isn't right. lol

Wikipedia has a formula on the Weight Watchers page for Points Plus. I haven't cared enough to test the accuracy so YMMV.

Plus you need to take Wikipedia with a grain of salt or not LOL

Try tracking with a calorie counting program and compare. I'm sure you will see approximately how many calories that way.

Do you add fruits to your calculations? I use SparkPeople.com:^:

Mine today calculated out to 36.8 per point. I did include the fruit in the calorie count.

I do the same (include fruit/veggies) and find it comes out to about 37 calories a point. It can vary depending upon the mix of food I eat.

Yes. Fruits and (some) veggies may be zero points but they aren't zero calories.
