All activity counts. For most people unless you are doing a circuit training type of strength training you are doing a low intensity workout. Keep track of your minutes.

I've just started strength training by circuit training at a local gym, and I guage my workout intensity by my heart rate and breathing. Even though I rest for 1/2 to 1 minute between sets, I maintain at least 130 beats per minute, and sweat and breath heavily throughout. If I were doing shorter sets and leaving more rest time, I imagine I'd count it as light intensity.
