Well, I didn't quite meet my weekly weight loss goal of two pounds but my goal is aggressive and the "ideal" weight loss so I'm not really disappointed. I still got a 1.4 loss for the week. I'm happy with that as my weight had gone up and down all freaking week and I had Chinese food last night.
Thankfully it's spring break so I'm on a normal work schedule. I can go home for my full hour lunch and avoid the over processed frozen lunch foods. I'm interested to see if that reduction in sodium helps shed some water weight. Also, I cleared out the garage enough to add some foam tiles, put a heater/ac and a TV and plan on doing some weight loss videos in there. I hate kicking the family out of the living room for 30-60 minutes. My kids are so young they have no concept to stay clear of flailing arms and legs!
I added myself over the weekend a little belatedly. I was out of town for a week and the slowwww scale lately has me feeling a little blah. I lost 1.0 last week though, so hey, the end of the 190s crawl is starting to feel closer.
I have a 5k run next weekend for St Patrick's day. I've been running on the treadmill at a slight incline all winter (not very quickly, but my pace has gradually been improving) but just started running outside last week. Wish I had started earlier, trying to moderate my pace still feels like a challenge and I don't have much time to futz. Usually on the treadmill I run 4 - 4.5 miles before I need to walk, but outside I keep finding myself running faster, and it tuckers me out faster. My husband gave me a neat gps watch for Christmas that measures pace/distance/heart rate etc and when I take it home I upload all the data. My pace line graph is like UP DOWN UP DOWN UP DOWN from me just gradually creeping up, catching myself, and trying to slow down, again and again. I make it the first mile without a walk break, but then the next couple miles require several more walks mixed in.
But hey, my one year anniversary of joining WW was 1 week ago. Even if I haven't mastered running 5k straight off on a non-treadmill surface by St. Patrick's day or I'm frustrated over the sluggish losses of late, I've come a long way in the last year and have a lot to be grateful for.
Well chickies I was down 1.8 this week which is terrific for me considering I blew off the gym the last two days and went out for lunch yesterday and had mexican food...but I tracked it the best I could.
This week I plan to hit the gym at least 5 days this week and track track track.
I so want to get below the 150 mark, I have not been there in over 12 years. For me it would be the equivalent of the high with running your first marathon or well you know some big milestone.
I had a great week last week considering I was traveling to Oklahoma and on planes which always makes me balloon up! I caved over the weekend though and am back up 2 pounds this morning. But I am going to keep at it and hope that it all works itself out by this week.
My goal for this week includes some resistance weight training. I've really slacked and i know that I need to make it more of a constant in my gym time, but I just always do cardio, cardio, cardio. So, today I plan on hitting up the 30 minute circuit room at the gym.
As most have seen, I had major scale issues this morning with sodium and lack of water, so I'm going to go ahead and weigh in tomorrow and I'll update from there. Hopefully it's not too horrible. My scale said I was up 5.6 this morning, but as I've been drinking water throughout the day it's gone down 4 pounds. I didn't hardly drink ANY water last week. Shame on me.
I just added myself... I love this! I hope it will motivate me to reach my goal weight by April 30th Only about 6 pounds away... seems reasonable as long as I can STAY MOTIVATED
Down 2.2 this week! Woohoo!! And I checked my start date today and realized that if I do achieve the goal I set for myself, I will be able to hit lifetime status by the time I hit my 2 year anniversary of joining
Added my info into the spreadsheet as well - I know I'm working towards a huge loss (30 lbs), but since I lost 14lbs during the first week (which I know is water weight ), I hate to count that.
Anyway - hoping to a great challenge!
