I'm in again, I need to think about some realistic goals so I don't fail this one. I will be back!

Ok, I had my weigh in this morning so I'm able to say for sure where I'm starting and where I want to be at the end of December. I'm starting, November 1st at 208. My start weight (on October 3rd) was 215.8 and my goal is to have lost my first 10% by the end of December. That leaves me with loosing a total of 13.8 over the next 2 months. If I loose about 1.5 a week, I can do it!

Hey everyone!
So glad to see people joining in with healthy goals =)
I've started out well. I picked up my phone (I have the WW app) and just forced myself to track all my food. I stepped on the scale two days in a row. Just getting back to the basics with healthier habits.
And, truly, my goal is "less obese". It's all relative, but right now I'm about 10 pounds away from being Category II obese instead of Category III obese. That's my focus for the next two months.
That and dealing with holiday foods.

Had my WI today. Starting at 234.5. I'll keep my goal the same at 227.5, which is a 7 pound weight loss. Originally I was going to aim for just 5 lbs over the holidays, but I did a new workout at the gym yesterday (kettelbells=deceptively hard; yay for running 3x for a minute each!) and I'm wicked sore. I know i'm retaining water in my muscles from all this so I am hoping to have a big loss next week.
Lets kick some holiday butt ladies! ;-)

I am going through gym withdrawal so badly right now!!!! The plaza that my gym is in is still without power since Saturday. I'm starting to go a bit stir crazy. I am off to check if Target has power and if they do, I need to do some food shopping so that I'm not tempted by the Halloween candy.

Yesterday was pretty good. The scale is nearly back down those 5 pounds I gained from my not-so-good week and a half. I'm tracking, but I need to add in my exercise.
The strangest thing is that I can feel my body -wanting- to get in some sort of movement. It's a little late in the night for my treadmill, though. I should plan my walk in the morning. Even 10 minutes is better than nothing, and I KNOW fitness is important on this journey.

Ok, I need to stop the free fall that I'm on. Right now if I cut it out I haven't lost too much, *sigh*
My goals:
1. Check in here, every day. No more excuses, just do it.
2. Track, every day. It doesn't matter if I go over points, just track.
3. Make good choices. I know what they are, no reason to keep screwing up.
4. Gym: 3-4 hours a week.
5. Lose 15 lbs. (starting weight 205)
Lovely I'm glad you had a better day! Its funny I feel the same way, I can feel my body wanting to be at the gym... also, craving fresh/cold food. I just tend to ignore it. :-/

Lovely, good for you girl to be back on track and everything! But can you send a bit of this feeling of your body wanting some kind of movement? LOL I'm just so lazy these days, I have to litteraly PUSH myself to do exercice!
Patchy, those are some great realistic goals You can do it! We'll be there if you need anything!
So I figured out my biggest challenge is probably controling myself in the tons of leftover of Halloween candies. This is so tricky, I'm saying to myself, well, they are small, I can have one, but it eventually become 3, 4 candy bars... AAAAAH! We have a lab meeting tomorrow, so I think I'll just bring a bunch of those to my group (the bf isn't happy about it though LOL)

Happy Friday!
I'm looking forward to getting out grocery shopping for healthy things this weekend.
The husband said something about "ordering pizza tonight" before he left for dinner and I cringed. I really, really, REALLY don't need that type of temptation right now. In a month or so I might be able handling it, but having just gone through a week and a half of miserable choices and only just getting back up... yeah, no. No pizza tonight. I must be firm!
Turbo - Sending as much of a "movement" vibe your way as I can!
Patchy - We can do it! There's no where to go but forward from here.

Thanks for the support ladies! I had a really good day yesterday. Hopefully today is the same!
Turbo, halloween candy is hard! I bribed the kids with milkshakes and bowling instead of trick or treating just so I wouldn't be tempted afterwards!
Lovely - No pizza tonight! You can do it! Sometimes I get those OH MY GOD I WANT AN ENTIRE PIZZA craving.... so we order pizza and I eat like 1 slice and then feel sick about the whole thing. It is the one thing I miss when I go grain free :-/

Well Chickies I have been reading the posts each day just have not posted anything myself. It looks like we are all up for this next challenge, getting back on track and moving forward.
I have had a bit of a set back and not sure what to do, was at the gym last night and decided to take one of the classes "ripped" lol anyway I somehow mannaged to hurt my knee. It feels like it is going to give out and if I step wrong OUCH! So no gym for a few days and that is going to kill me. I know what you mean by you feel you have to move. I have not missed a day at the gym for three weeks!
Ok I am done complaining I know I have to heal but this is not how I wanted to start this challenge
