I got home from work this evening and realized I had left something in the car. Instead of taking the elevator, as I normally would, I took the stairs! Only six flights, but still!
I bought a HUGE rice krispie treat on my afternoon break. But instead of eating I had my cucumbers and grapes. Then cut the treat into 3 and shared it with my kids when I got home!
Birthday in the office today, they had cheesecake. I'm a cheesecake fiend! I grabbed a slice, eyeballed it and ate half. Half! I dont think I've ever pushed away a cheesecake in my life. I didnt feel deprived, upset, it wast even that hard. Probably my biggest NSV to date hahaha.
At lunch time at work yesterday I wanted a sweetie sooooo bad. I walked over to the grocery store beside work. I picked up chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered espresso beans and some other chocolate. Then proceeded to put it all back and get 2pp sugar free rice pudding! A huge victory for me since I love chocolate. But something in me wouldn't let me buy it. Lol
After a shaky day yesterday Today is my day to be on point and no looking back so instead of riding bus all the way to office I got off two stops early and walked
I had a slight non scale victory last night. We all went out to dinner and one of my plans has been not to order a 2nd glass of wine and I did not. I wanted to, but decided that it was more important to not use up another 4 points.
I've not been working hard at this during this past week, daughter had a terrible car accident. No way was I dragging around a WW tracker in the midst of all of this crazy stuff. She is OK and the car is gone, but who cares about cars when you think of the alternative for your kid. I got one of those horrible wake you out of a sound sleep phone calls about the car accident and my kid, who goes to college far away. Getting to her and dealing with it all has been hard.
But, I made one step in the right direction happen and I call that a victory.
My NSV this week is extending my jogs with my dog. I now take both out for about 20 minutes, then after returning the older one home, I take the younger guy and jog for another 20 - 30 minutes. It is really kicking my butt, but I am also secretly loving it.
Also, I bought some shorts for our vacation to HI in November and they are loosey-goosey already. I hope they still look alright in a little over a month!
