Default Canned Beans

Hi Everyone!!

Quick question if anyone can help me out. I decided to add a half cup of kidney beans to my stirfry just to add some extra fiber and protein. On the can it says 1/2 cup (130g), now does this include the liquid also? I weighed just the beans (130g) on my food scale and it filled 1 cup which is why I'm curious if the serving size on the can includes the liquid.

Have you multiplied your servings in the can to see if the weight comes up to what's supposed to be in the can? I always thought in canned vegetables that it was net weight, (minus the liquid), but I could be wrong.
