Default Entire Bag of Popcorn

Hi Everyone!

On the old plan I would eat an entire bag of popcorn at night with a Diet Pepsi to curb my night time eating which really worked well. The whole bag used to be 4 points but I'm having trouble figuring out how much it has increased to. Does anyone know? I thought it may be 7 but can't be sure..

On the WW site it lists 5 cups of reduced-fat 94% microwave popcorn as 3 points. Can you measure out a popped bag and see how many cups is in it?

Or, if you have the fat, carbs, protein and fiber I can enter it in the tracker for you.

Orville's isn't listed on eTools. I got the same general result that Shytowngal did.

I googled around and it looks to be 7 P+ for the whole large bag.

I guess 7 isn't that bad if you get more points during the day, but honestly, if you have lost that much eating a bag a night, I would keep doing what you are doing!

You're right! I've eaten an entire bag of popcorn every night since I started Weight Watchers because it helps curb my night time eating. I'm definately going to set the 7 points aside every day because it's totally worth it! I think 7 is pretty accurate too

Kimberly, have you ever tried the mini bags? I find that they are just as satisfying, and my brain still thinks I'm finishing an entire bag. It saves 4P+!

A very good suggestion. Eating a bag of popcorn at night is fine but it is still night time eating. I used to eat a whole bag, and then I got the minis and now I eat airpopped 3 cups which is 2 points. I'm just as satisfied with that small amount.

Good to know.....I have a microwave air popper and spray little butter flavor on it with salt and that is good for me. I need to get that back out!

It is 2 points on the NEW plan or the old plan? That would mean 6 cups is 4 points which is still very low if it is the new plan.
