I prefer to use my APs first for the same reason as Stellarosa. Those are points that I have earned and I'll often eat some of them back after a workout. I want to get myself into the habit of earning my splurges and treats....for example I had a Christmas party on Saturday night where I knew there would be food and drink that wouldn't fit into my daily points. I worked out on Saturday afternoon to pad my points for the day. I still dipped into weeklies, but didn't feel as bad about my Saturday night splurge.
