Default Losing weight "too fast"

So...I started weight watcher's 3 weeks ago. My first week I lost 7lbs. The second week I lost 1.8...and this week I lost 2.6...for a grand total of 11.4 lbs in 3 weeks. I've heard that a lot of people lose the most weight in the first week. I do WW online...and when I entered my weight for this week it informed me that I needed to slow down on my weight loss and that you shouldn't lose more than 2lbs per week. I'm not starving myself by any means. I eat all my points and since I'm on the flex plan I use some of my extra points too. I make sure to use my points wisely and I don't just use them up on junk. I try planning well balanced meals for lunch and dinner, I have occasional low point snacks, and really great breakfasts. I walk 4 times a week for 30 minutes each time. I don't feel like I'm over doing anything. I've even gone out to eat a few times since I started..I've just avoided those meals that are like 62points.

Does anyone think this is something to worry about? I'm getting everything I need, I'm not starving myself, and I'm definitely not overexercising.

I have a friend who lost 15 pounds in the first week on WW. I think as long as you follow the plan then your body will eventually adjust. I find that sometimes I lose a lot one week, but then I will gain another week and I haven't changed my diet or exercise program. I wish I knew more of how my body works.

I don't think it's anything to worry about at all The computer has just taken your average over 3 weeks, which is a great loss. But your first loss will be some fatloss and also a lot of water loss from the change in your diet. Look at your following 2 weeks...they are good steady losses.

I wouldn't worry about the comments on the computer, I think they perhaps are set to expect 2lbs a week max and your fab loss in the first week has confused it.

Don't change a thing...and definitely don't worry.

Just my opinion..

I lost a lot my first month on WW. Then it starts to slow down gradually, the closer you get to your goal. I found I needed to exercise a little harder the closer I neared my goal. I think it is totally normal.

I agree with the above posters.

I also do WW online and hate when they yell at me LOL. I just stick my tongue out at them and go on. Chances are if I have a huge loss one week I won't have much of one the next.

I wouldn't worry about it. It does the same thing to me. I tend to laugh at it when it "yells" at me.

Everyone is different. As long as you are following the plan and eating your alotted points, you should be fine.

This happened to me also. I lost 3 the first week, then 5 and 6 the next two. Then I lost just 1 the fourth week for a total of 15 lbs. It will start to regulate soon, then you'll wish for those big losses again, lol.

I wouldn't worry about it.. i lost 4 pounds this first week, and i have done WW in the past and wish i had kept with it i was down to like 174 and then got in a new relationship and got married, and lets just say being happy makes you tend to not worry about what ur eating...

Now that we are seriously thinking about starting a family i want to get healthy
