Good morning ladies.
I hope you all have a wonderful day. I woke up motivated. We know that can change by 3:00, but I am in control so I will not let it change.
Linda I hope today is a great day for you and that you find your task today is relaxing and you get some me time.
I find when I am driving I get quiet me time, just time to sit and think about everything. Some days this is welcomed.
Have a great day everyone.
Take Care
Ann

Well, here I am today feeling a tad better. I did go out to dinner last night... and I ate more than I should have. But then my scale this morning was .5 less than yesteryday. ?????
I just don't get it.
But today is a new day... I will go on from here. I will eat my points and exercise and all that good stuff.
I rarely eat my flex points... and I do exercise. Could that be my problem? I told that to my husband... I exercise and eat less than they say- I should be losing quick, right?? But then like yesterday, I eat too much, and I lose a little.
I just don't understand.

Good Morning everyone,
Another rough night of sleeping for me last night. DD who is 2.5 has not been sleeping through the night since the beginning of March when we started potty training her. She is potty trained now, but I think the urge to pee wakes her up every night, and she is so out of it. I think when I'm so tired in the afternoons from lack of sleep at night, can cause me to eat more. The picnic I went to yesterday was OK, there was kind of poor planning, and there was a TON of sweets, and not a very good variety of regular things. But there was a nice chef salad with a homemade vinagrette that I was able to have.
Treighsie-I think it's hard to try to figure out our bodies, what we eat, what we do, and how that all translates on the scale. The other night in my meeting, we talked about how we can play games with the scale like, "oh, I'm down, so I can have that second cookie" or "I'm up today on the scale today, so I'll deprive myself today". I do it ALL the time. I challenged my group to put their scales away for as long as they could, and just let me, the one they pay $$ to weigh them in each week. Turnovers, oh my, they sound really good. Were they the pepridge farms ones?
Ann-I was wondering why you had your ticker off of there! Another pound, that's awesome! Every time you mention that pedometer, I think of how I want to get one. You must have very muscular legs with all that walking/running you get in.
Linda-Good for you with staying in control at your quilt group. How so very tempting that must all be. As far as our good behaviors and not seeing the loss we might expect, I truly believe that our bodies kind of "decide" when to let go of weight. That has happened to me before. Weeks when I thought I was "bad" some weight comes off, and other weeks when I'm thinking I'm doing good the weight hangs on. I've given up on trying to figure it out.
Paige-that's really funny about your DD. They are a crack up aren't they? The other night after dinner, I gave them pudding pops, and 2.5 yr. old sticks her thumb at me and says, "thumbs up dude!" So funny!
Well, time to go get the day started, I'll check in later.....

Goooooood morning everyone!
Nothing too new and exciting to report here. Yesterday I finished 3pts over, but I hadn't used hardly any fp for the week, so no biggie. Today starts a new week for me, so that means WI tonight! I'm thinking I might actually be down a few lbs, but we'll see!!!! I'm going to be heading off to the gym in a few hours, too.
Tracy-I have found with my body and WW that if I don't eat all of my points then I DO NOT lose weight. It just doesn't happen. I'm sure you've heard this a million times, so now it will be a million and one...if you are not eating enough, our body will go into "starvation mode"...you said that you don't usually eat all of your points, and you are also exercising. I really bet that your body is just not getting enough fuel, so it's hanging onto whatever it is getting. You are messing with your metabolism when you do that. Didn't you also say it's TOM? Ummmmm...? When it's TOM, just FORGET weighing yourself! It's INACURATE! Up, down, up, down! That is what you will get, and it will drive you nuts if you are being a scaleaholic! You need to patient with the process and enjoy the journey.
Erica-I get so stinkin annoyed with school events for my dd...why do other parents always feel the need to bring loads of sweets?! At least there was a salad there, but were the kids actually eating it? I refuse anymore to bring stuff like that to their parties or events. I just don't see the need to stuff a kid with cookies, cookies, cupcakes, cupcakes, and more junk!!!! However, maybe I'm a hypocrite because I'm making cupcakes for dd to take in for her bday (she has a summer bday so she had to pick a day this month) next week. But at least that will be the only thing, not a table full.
Ann-Glad to hear that you are feeling motivated this morning! I know you will make it last the day through!
Alright guys, I must get a move on before my own motivation to go to the gym flys out the window! Chat later!
