Default Small space Mrs Jim?

Are you still looking for a workout you can do in 1 foot of space?

I use resistance bands and have done for years. A lot of my clients love them because you can do the whole workout without having to move furniture - I even managed in a 1 bedroom flat with enough stuff in it for a 3 bedroomed house!!!!!

I'm looking for a good resource book/website. If I ever find a really good one I will post it immediately!!

Hey there!

I actually enjoy working out at the gym - however, we just bought (off Craigslist for $25) a curling bar and about 100# worth of plates - mostly for Jim. We keep 'em in our garage (a.k.a. "the freezer" at this time of year ) and every night before bed, he spends about 20 minutes pumping some iron...

I still love the gym, but Jim just can't stand it...ya know, speaking of resistance bands, last year while I was traveling on business, I stayed at the San Francisco Omni (okay, that's not really much traveling - 20 minutes...but I had to be at the meeting place...) and they had resistance bands, a mat, and a treadmill placed in my suite...pretty cool...even though they had a pretty decent fitness room right in the hotel - I guess the concierge thought I would appreciate having the stuff right in my room!

Wow! Some how I can't imagine that EVER happening in the UK!

If you have all of the weights then Mr Jm might still like the bnd - you could sell it to him as a 'definition' thing - it works for most of my male customers!

Having said that I can't persuade my DH to give up any of his machine time for a big purple elastic band - even though my 'body conditioning' classes pay the rent!!!
