Pardon my ignorance, but how do walking lunges differ from normal lunges?
(I am just ignorant, not trying to challenge this or anything. I just started on squats and lunges myself.)

hmmm a walking lunge is exactly what it sounds like. Instead of doing lunges on the spot you walk forward in the lunging position - it makes you look like a chicken!!

Found the cable but the pics are really messed up. Too many shadows and quite grainy. DH gonna bring home the good quality digital from work tomorrow, so we'll try again. I'm going to start digging for older photos; didn't have many taken the last several years.

Hey guys!

Would you believe I got more "happy birthdays" on here than IRL? (total: 6) Ah well hehe

As for what kind of comp, I really dont know what kind of body Ive got hidden under here, so I guess I'll find out as I go along. Probably a regular bodybuilding show, if my guess is right (not heavyweight tho, Im not that buff yet heh), but I think I have the width in the shoulders to pull it off, and I would be too muscled to do figure (Which is cool with me, no shoes to worry about!).

As for my birthday.. I took my free day and really didnt overdo it I think Im conquoring (sp?) my free day deamon. Here's my list:

Nectarine
water
café au lait
1 small peice Tosca cake (topped with caramen and nuts. OMG so good, about 1" high)
Pork chop
oven fries (large portion. i love these)
dipping sauce
salad (lots) with a bit of ranch dressing
2 peices of b-day cake (basically a brownie heh)
and lots of water

THATS IT! I cant believe it myself heh. Last challenge free day was always at least 1 bag of nachos and some chocolate on TOP of 3 full meals.

For my Bday present I got the 1st season of Star Trek: Deep Space 9, which is so awesome because I really like that serise and they dont show it here. Now I just need to collect the other 6 seasons lol

Ive also noticed that since I dont drink anything with caffine 99% of the time, when I have coffee it really shoots my metabolism into high gear and I get all sweaty heh. Guess I will never try those fat burning pills. It would probably kill me if thats the reaction I get from 1 cup of coffee.

Ive tried vegemite and it didnt do much for me either. I guess its like Swedes and caviar. They have a cheaper type that they put on EVERYTHING and I think its revolting. Just the thought makes me queasy hehe

Go Robin GO! Congrats on your first week! And even if the scale doesnt say what you want it to, the measurements and photos dont lie! Remember you are adding muscle as well as losing fat.

Colleen! WOW! Scotland. I havent managed to get there myself yet but I hope you have the best time! Take lots of pics so we can see too! If you look really really hard out across the ocean you might see me waving at you lol The UK has a lot of great department stores worth shopping at, and some of the most beautiful lingerie Ive ever seen at decent prices, so make sure you take lots of spending money if you love pretty stuff like I do hehe

Also, if you like soaps and stuff, check out a store called LUSH! (tho I hear they are opening them in the US so you may have one nearby now). They make the most fantastic soaps, bathbombs, and skincare stuff.
