I decided to get heavier weights today, inspired by all you heavy lifters. I've been working out with weights on and off for 30 years (I'm old) but I work out at home, so have only 1 set of free weights (I mostly use my ancient home gym, that I love).
Anyway, I decided to move up from my 16 pounders so I was testing the 20 pound weights when some guy came up to the display and started picking up the 5 and 10 pound weights and doing bicep curls crazy fast. Then he tried out one of those shake weight things and I had to stop myself from laughing. I thought about you chicks bench pressing your body weight and this idiot going for some sort of speed record with the Barbie weights. Ha!
I also bought a stability ball and I finished reading the New Rules, so I'm ready to start a new program!
