Default Weird Bruise Patterns

I noticed yesterday (I lifted like usual the day before) that I have small bruises on my inner upper arms (about the same spot on each) and on my inner forearm of my left arm. They are like big spots. Has this happened to anyone? It is the first time it has to me. Maybe I broke some blood vessels or something? They don't hurt.

Were you using machines or free weights?

Free Weights--only 5-10 lbs dumbbells for an hr's worth of exercising but I do the same routine basically and have for over a month 3x a week.

Hmm, that's kinda odd, I can see it happening if you were using a machine that put physical pressure on one spot consistently but it's weird that the blood vessels would be effected without any physical pressure on them... So I'm not sure what that could be from. If they don't hurt or anything though I probably wouldn't worry too much about them... Maybe just keep track of them and see how long they take to heal and if they reappear. I hope someone else has some more insight for you though, I'm not very helpful I guess, haha.

I did find this though: http://www.livestrong.com/article/48...weightlifting/
But it indicates that there would likely be some pain, hmm... Maybe you just over did it... Do you have any of the conditions it mentions?
