Default Mrs. Jim...question!!!

you can combine this thread if you want, but I needed your opinion so I could go to the grocery before tomorrow...
I found this recipe at the lean and strong site...I needed to know if its authorized...now I know most are if they are at the recipe site right?
But, my concern is its my first week and this recipe looks yummy, but it appears to have alot of stuff in it for one meal..or would this be two meals?
I see 2 carbs (fruit and the yogurt)
also, what does the chrystal lite do...give it more flavor?
this would be perfect for breakfast if you give it a go...b/c I am not a big fan of yogurt and cottage cheese.
here it is:

I love this very refreshing shake and it covers off a lot of the foods that we really need.
3/4 cup lf cottage cheese
1/4 cup of lf yogurt
1/2 cup mixed frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries - or those you have on hand, but don't skip on the blues)
2 tsp. flax seed
1/3 cup chrystal lite (your preference - I like cranberry)

(Add Ice if you are using fresh berries)

Blend, pour, drink - yum.

Sounds OK to me! - and it's one meal. Usually for me one cottage cheese portion is just under a cup.

And yep, most (if not all) of the recipes in the L&S Cooking Library are authorized - for the most part, folks post recipes up on the main board before the cooking library, asking for opinions.

Crystal Light is just for flavor - it's sugar free.

Take care! (BTW did you notice I started a recipe thread?)
