Yea, Susan, I don't quite understand the "twitch" thing either but it was a nice different workout anyways...

The workout this morning was ok too but I only did each circuit twice because of time... I think it would take a good 1+ hour to do the whole thing...

I use magazines for motivation and workouts allllllll the time... They are my cheap trainer...

I wonder if one of the trainer/mods would come and explain it ... I don't suppose it's as simple as lifting heavy or to failure once in a while ... which is what I keep reading.

What is the question? I don't have (and am not going to buy) the magazine. I have a huge pile of Oxygen's that I've barely dug through....

My answer to soy vs, whey is neither. Casein or casein/whey blends seem to provide a lot more benefits.

Thanks Mel ... there was an article about the difference between slow twitch and fast twitch muscle fibers. Apparently you need to do something different if you're going to work both ... I'm not real clear on what difference it makes. If you work your muscles, you work your muscles, right?
There's something in there about short burst strength and endurance ...

I'm wondering if it is just such a 'fine point' of lifting that perhaps it needn't bother someone like me much, ya know.
