It's been a while since I've been here... life is crazy busy. I reached (and surpassed) my goal weight and just wanted to share some pictures with you all. I hope that this can be encouraging to those of you at the very beginning of your WLS journey. It really is worth all of the headache (and sometimes heartache), incredibly hard work, and emotional journeys we take to get there!

Now I'm figuring out maintenance (been maintaining for a couple of months now.) This is a different beast altogether and I'm learning a lot along the way.

oh my goodness Gale you look GREAT! you have got to stop by the thread so Kukkie and a few others from our old thread can see you. You go girl I know there are a ton of maintainers thread on 3FC so you'll have that great support from them. So good to see you

I know this is an old thread, but I just have to say, COWABUNGA!! To quote the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, hahaha! You look incredible. Very inspiring! I am looking into the VSG surgery too, and your transformation is just WOW. Thank you for sharing!
