Scheduled for DS!!
 

I thought I would post as I am scheduled to have the DS in May. I am waiting till I have a break from school. I am nervous about it but have a lot of faith in my surgeon and in the healthcare system I am working with. I hope people might start posting here once again

hi there! i figured you'd get more comments if your post was its own thread. Congrats on making a decision - and getting a date. I noticed that STRESS reduction is one of your priorities - how are you doing that? it's a huge challenge for all of us.

Hello & welcome. Glad to meet a prospective DSer.

Just went through the DS surgery 8 weeks ago and feel great! Have lost 41 lbs so far and could not be happier! COngrats on choosing a date, and I think its great you are waiting for a break from school because it took me the full recovery time of around 6 weeks to start feeling pretty normal again.
