Jen, I am so glad you liked it! My husband loved it too. U had never cooked a cucumber before and I was quite shocked that it stayed so crisp.

I am trying to add more fish to my diet. More protein, less fat, and it is not chicken! I am over chicken breast already, only so many ways to cook it and not get bored.

mmmmmmmm That was good!! I took the left overs, added some mayo, blended it, and spread it on celery and rice crackers! yum!!

Waiting for the call with my pre-op visit. I know they said 'early spring' but I'm antsy ;p
But I've taken out all sugary drinks, and caffiene (BOOO) away, as well as breads and pastas.
I've discovered and fell in love with Quinoa. I hope I can handle it when the time comes.
Other than that, just fussing over step mom and my dad going to Cuba soon. I feel like I'm the nervous parent here! LOL!

Do you post on the obesity help website as well? There is an ontario forum and there is a facebook page for patients of st joes. Do a search for dr scott gmora and you'll find us.
