Default Brand new me!

Well, I got my Lap Band installed on December 8th and so far so good. I haven't had any complications and seem to be on track. Eating my soft foods and drinking my protein shakes. I am taking in only the recommended amounts my Dr suggested, but I have never gotten a full feeling. I will be going back to have another follow up in January and will have a band fill if i need it a month after that.

So glad I made this choice for myself!

Happy Holidays to all!

good for you!!! glad you're feeling ok. and, from what i understand, there's no restriction until that first fill, so it makes sense that you're not full [and i KNOW someone who's actually been banded will be along to tell you the real deal! I had RNY].

keep up with your doc's recommendations - and enjoy your holidays! 2012 will be a great year for you.

Jiffy is that some one me? lol

CONGRATULATIONS

Please remember, whether it be a fill, restriction, eating, drinking and weight loss.. it all happens slowly with the band, patience is the key... and whether it be a fill, food, drink.. its all trial and error, a learning stage but you will get there and you will do just fine. Just remember that and you'll do great

If you have any questions, please do hesitate to ask... these ladies are the best!

Merry Christmas

Leenie

Got my band in 2004 and I'm still learning! Trust me, you will know when your fills are working. Like Leenie says, have patience, it will happen.

Hi Leenie! Merry Christmas my old friend!
