I feel lost in the site for some reason. I'm looking for the area for Lap Band/Realize Banders. I love coming onto message boards and sharing woes and support with others. Am I in the right area? This is such a hard time of year for anyone dealing with weight issues and the added support is such a great thing online. Is this the right area where I belong? Please advise and Happy Holidays to everyone!

Yep! There are banders on this board and tons of support from us all! I had GBP Feb 2008 and we have some that have had DS and other that have had other WLS's...we all get the struggles and share the good times and the bad!

this is the weight loss surgery area. we all just hang out together.

and we all get along wonderfully well together - the only time we spat is when someone from the outside [non-WLS] comes in and tells us (1) we should just give it one more try before having surgery or (2) we're doing it all wrong

Thank you everyone! Nessa, How are you doing since surgery? I remember you mentioned you were having it done in Florida..... I feel great since mine. Some days are struggles just like every other diet/plan but I feel I got a good grasp on this!
