Yay! I forced the insurance company today (with a threat to call OPM) and got both of the authorization codes for our surgical approvals

Dates are planned for DH already as follows

8/11 place his IVC filter
8/13 pre-op nutrition class
8/18 surgery for the big dude

I am more than likely having surgery on 9/22

Thanks all! I know it's happening now... the Case Manager from the insurance called yesterday. Brian's approval letter has arrived. Two weeks from now he will be done already... wow!

then we focus on getting him up and about and then MY surgery.
