Talking It's still working!

Today I went to my PCP for my annual checkup, and have to say I walked away a happy person. Not only was I down four more pounds, my blood pressure was 110 over 70, my overall cholesterol level was 156 with my HDL (good) cholesterol at 90 and my LDL (bad) cholesterol at 54. He was also VERY interested in hearing more about the lap band and my progress with it; I actually had to educate HIM on how fills were done! LOL. So I guess it looks like I may be hanging around this earth another 50 years, healthwise anyway. :

Neato !!

Courage doesn't always roar.
Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow."

Good for you!
I have to advise my PCP all about gastric bypass. he will prescribe me stuff i can't have and i have to pop up and tell him no. he's nice but likes to think he knows everything. i think all PCP's should have to take a course/seminar whatever in gastric bypass and lapbands.
