Default emotionally ate but waited till I was hungry

So I saw the My childhood house is up for sale I looked it up and I'm sure to anyone else it looked fine. . .to me it looked Generic they managed to make my 18X18 bedroom Look small and painted My Grams room Turkey Red
UGH!
But I digress
I wanted to eat
Mind you I eat every 2-4 hours depending on the mass of food and calories
Lunch was about 190 calories so I was due I waited till 3:15 till I felt Physically hungry then had a yogurt with some Unjury mixed in.
Is this still bad?
I had tea and water in the mean time and I was Physically hungry but it did put a small bandaid on my soul in addition

kier - you're SOOO hard on yourself!!!!! did you get enough PROTEIN at lunch? 190 calories is reasonable - if most of it's protein. and if it wasn't, well, then, your yogurt+protein was the right choice.

sounds to me as if you recognized the feelings you had, and realized you were sad, but you stayed with the FEELINGS instead of translating it into eating. you did GREAT here - and you should be proud of yourself for getting through a tough few hours.

It doesn't sound like you were terrible. You still ate healthy and not very much. Now I was waiting to hear that you were rolling around on the floor stuffed with carbs or something. Your fine, you dealt with it and moved on. Yes some new builders/contractors don't appreciate the character of old homes.

Cool

My therapist would have been thrilled with that! You owned the feelings and actually put off the band-aid... waited til it was TIME to eat. Like I said, good job!
