Default Cross Trainer

Should I buy one for use within the comfort of my own home? I have another stone to loose, I wanted this to be by christmas, but I am strongly plateauing.

I have lost all my weight so far through running (and I think my running machine has now just about had it). Do you think I should buy one? They are on sale for as little as £89.99, would they have an impact as much as my running did?

What's a cross trainer? I have an elliptical cross trainer, but it cost me almost a thousand dollars. I love having it in my home because, with two kids, it's hard to find time to actually leave the house to go to the gym. I can workout in little intervals all day.
