grrrr, so angry

  • I had such a **** day at work.... really really crap

Got home and went running, half way through the old man came in the front room and wanted the tv turned over to watch the football. I was watching music TV. What a cheek. I went moaning to mum, and he came shouting up the stairs about me moaning - for gods sake, does he not understand what 'fair' is.

My brothers always had far far far more attention than me, and tends to be given what he wants without arguments - all I want is the front room and tv for 70 mins - is that too much to flipping ask for! Its no wonder people comfort eat in situations like these.

  • Aww, I am sorry you are having a tough day. I hate it when I am working out and my hubby comes in and changes the TV and says well you are working out, not watching TV
  • Maybe you should get a small tv/vcr for your room and do videos in there. I know that when I had the treadmill in the living room, I had to get up early, early in the morning and use wireless headphones in order to get my exercise in and not disturb my family (and I don't even live with my parents). Right now, I let the kids watch tv after school until 5 pm when homework starts. From five to six is when I use the tv for exercise. Can you work out a schedule with your dad (stepdad?) that will accomodate both of your needs?
  • Yes, all my stuff is moving to the shed at the weekend, therefore I wont be watched and I wont be in the wars of what tv channel to turn on.
