I just tell myself that I am stronger than quitting early. I am stronger than the cookie. I am stronger than the bad habit I want to indulge.

Hi,
My favourite is " Don't wish things were easier, wish you were better". Really encouraging. And I love the two ones in my signature, too.
When I'm doing exercise or trying to keep "dieting" I allways say to myself a simple thing: "You can do it!" (with the tune of the song of The Producers ). Is silly, but it really helps .

That concept of no cheat codes really captures something for me.
To get ourselves to the gym, hubby and I say "Git 'er done!"

When I'm jogging on the treadmill, I quote the reference to my weight loss motivator bible verse: Matt 17:20[21] which reads; "...'Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
Usually at the time I qoute it, there's two "mountains" bouncing around that I am trying to move right off my body!!! (Well, at least most of them!)

Heee - while I'm lifting I say, "I am the mighty Skwigg and this is too light for me!" (Skwigg is an MMA girlie who has a blog and website, she also does/did BfL)
I have a T-shirt which says "Don't Eat Junk Food" Which I wear some weekends to stop me going mad!
Oh yeah and when I'm kickboxing and pulling that last ounce of energy out of my muscles - "Ninjas don't quit!"

I'm queen of daft T-shirts! I'm just ordering a printed-to-order with "Bridezilla" across it and a screaming woman!

I just tell myself I'll feel so much better when I complete my goal...
over and over and over...
I also think of the cute clothes I'll get to buy and how (most importantly) I'll feel COMFORTABLE in them when I lose some weight. I mostly just want to feel GOOD about my size and I want to feel HEALTHY

Not a quote, but while walking on the treadmill, staring at the exercise poster on the wall (with pics of feet and hearts and such to show it was good for your heart, etc) I came up with my own exercise mantra which I've made part of my signature here. I just keep repeating it to myself.

My cardio workout is based on intervals and in order to make it through, I keep telling myself just one more interval and I keep repeating it until I'm done!
Right now, my favorite saying is "It's all for Snoopy"......I'm 5 months and Snoopy is our pet name for the baby. Thinking about my baby, someone that I want to remain healthy for, is the biggest motivator.
