I am going to try planning ahead, although my menu's going to look a little different; I don't eat "meals", just snacks.

And I usually play it by ear regarding what I eat, but we'll see if this helps me:

Oatmeal (2 separate servings) - 145 calories each
Romaine-based salad with Caesar dressing - 200 calories
2 Boca veggie burgers on rice cakes with Laughing Cow Lite cheese (2 separate servings) - 155 calories each
1 cup grapes - 115 calories
1 apple - 80 calories
4 oz. Mahi-Mahi fillet, pan-fried - 100 calories
2 tbsp Promise Light (for the fish) - 90 calories
3 slices turkey - 90 calories
Light yogurt - 60 calories
Homemade vegetable soup - 100 calories
Multivitamin--gotta remember that!

Water - at least 3 liters

TOTAL: 1435 calories. I may have an extra yogurt to get closer to 1500, as that's my goal. It depends on how I feel.

Exercise: Bellydancing, and a walk if weather permits. If not, then 30 minutes of Pilates.

Morning .

Well I started off with good intentions today by bringing oatmeal with me for brekkie, but after the gym I was craving carbs something fierce, so ended up getting an egg mcmuffin from Mickey D's. Oh well, they aren't too bad. I'm still craving carbs though! Especially bread. Argh!!

Breakfast - egg mcmuffin, coffee

Snack - cottage cheese, can of peaches in lite syrup

Lunch - this is going to be tricky. I want a turkey salad sandwich on french baguette. I've brought bean and tomato soup. Who will win? Stay tuned! Got a yoghurt and black grapes too.

Snack - babybel cheese, peach

Dinner - new dish tonight! buffalo cubed steak cooked swiss style in tomatoes, 1 cup chopped cabbage

Water - as much as I can. I've upped my water intake and managed 125 oz yesterday which is about 3 liters I think.

Exercise - treadmill, elliptical for an hour this morning.

Impressive water intake, LynneA! Yesterday I finished 2 L that I could calculate (water bottle) and I probably drank maybe 3 or so glasses with dinner and before breffix so 2.5 L right? WOW. I just impressed myself... Do you guys remember the whole LIST of food I put down yesterday and I said I might not eat it depending on how hungry I was? Well, dang...I ate ALLLL of it... Sigh.

Onward -

B - 2 toasted whole wheat slices, 1 egg

L - 2 slices whole wheat bread + roasted veggies
1 8 oz container plain yogie
1 snack size SunChips bag (harvest cheddar)

S - 2 salad wraps

D - dunno yet.

Exercise - HA! Haven't hit the gym all week ain't happenin' on a Friday of all things...although I will be taking a 6 mile walk tomorrow so good for me...

I was teasing my co-workers that I never got a b-day card or cake for my b-day back in may. well this afternoon I got a card and choc. cake. Thank goodness that I brought a small lunch...

B: 6oz yogurt, 1 med apple, 1 sm peach, coffee (250cal)

L: lean cuisine meal (150cal), 1 sm slice of choc. cake (250cal)

D: 4 oz mahi, mahi w. steemed vegies spray buttered (250cal)

S: f.f cottage cheese, rye crackers w. l.cow light cheese, s.f jelly (250cal)

Workout: My butt is so tired and sore from my Wed. night spin class, and my kickboxing class last night. I had a really hard time waking up this morning.
